§ 44-27. Tampering with or damaging water meters prohibited; bypassing water meters prohibited; violations, penalties.

(a)

The tampering, damaging or destroying of any water meter within the city limits by any person is hereby prohibited.

(b)

The intentional bypassing of a water meter, or drawing of water without a water meter in the city limits by any person is hereby prohibited.

(c)

Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be subject to the penalties provided in section 1-16.
