§ 10-48. Heating and air conditioning regulations; inspections; inspection fees.

(a)

All heat-producing appliances and systems and all ventilating, air conditioning, blower and exhaust systems shall be installed to conform to the requirements set forth in the Louisiana State Uniform Construction Code. In order to ensure compliance with those requirements, all such systems must be inspected and a certificate of approval issued before the systems can be placed in actual use.

(b)

Before making any inspection herein required, the building department shall collect an inspection fee from the person making application therefor, which fee shall be in an amount as established by the mayor and city council from time to time.
