§ 10-47. Gas piping regulations; inspections; inspection fees.

(a)

It shall be unlawful to supply gas to any system of gas piping in a building or structure before such system has been inspected and the work is found satisfactory and a certificate of approval has been issued by the building department. No other person shall approve said system.

(b)

Before making any inspection herein required, the building department shall collect an inspection fee from the person making application therefor, which fee shall be as established by the mayor and city council from time to time.
