§ 4-30. Location of alcoholic beverage businesses, additional restrictions; exemptions.

The mayor and city council shall not issue any new liquor licenses to any applicant for the purpose of operating a bar or lounge within 2,000 feet of any existing bar or lounge, except that liquor licenses shall be issued to new applicants where there existed a liquor license issued the previous year to said bar or lounge. This section shall not apply to existing establishments for which a license has been previously issued.
