§ 4-21. Required of all persons dealing in alcoholic beverages; permit fees.

  • (a)

    Before engaging in the business of dealing in alcoholic beverages, all persons listed in subsections (a)(1) to (4) of this section shall obtain from the mayor and the city council, annually, dating from January 1 of each year, a permit to conduct each separate business and shall pay the mayor and the city council therefor according to the following schedule:

    (1)

    Manufacturers ..... $535.00

    (2)

    Wholesalers ..... 535.00

    (3)

    Retailers ..... 535.00

    (4)

    Retailers of package beer ..... 100.00

    However, the total of all such applicable fees shall not exceed $535.00 for an annual beverage permit.

    (b)

    The fee for any alcoholic beverage permit issued after July 1 in any year for any new business shall be one-half the annual fee.
