§ 40-80. Permit required for placement of crocks in ditches; specifications and regulations.

(a)

Any property owner, residing within the city limits, desiring to place crocks in ditches (and covering the same) fronting the property which he owns shall obtain a permit from the mayor and city council, and shall abide by the specifications and regulations which said mayor and city council shall issue.

(b)

The mayor and city council, in granting the aforesaid permits, shall have the complete authority to designate the size of crocks, depth at which they are to be placed, material with which said crocks shall be covered, the portion of the ditch which shall be crocked, and designate clean outs for the purpose of cleaning said crocks, etc.
