§ 38-21. Garbage and trash collection fees established.

A monthly service charge is hereby imposed for the collection of garbage and trash within the corporate limits of the city, on each residence and business. The amount of said monthly service charge shall be charged per month on each residence, and the city shall fix a special rate for each business establishment considering the amount of garbage or trash collected, and the number of days used by each business establishment. The monthly service charge shall be billed against each residence and business establishment on their monthly water bill. The amount of the monthly service charge shall be as established by the city council from time to time.
