§ 38-2. General prohibitions.

Latest version.

It shall be unlawful:
(1)

To place out for collection garbage or trash that has not been properly separated or stored in containers;

(2)

To keep garbage or trash on premises unless properly stored in containers;

(3)

To remove the covers from containers except for the placement of additional refuse, or to disturb the contents of containers after they have been placed for collection;

(4)

To dump any garbage or trash on lots or any open areas other than designated dumps;

(5)

For individuals or businesses to dump or place garbage or trash in front of any residence or place of business not owned, leased or operated by said individual or business.
