§ 26-167. Police escort of buildings being moved; expenses to be paid by person moving.

  • (a)

    Upon the grant of a permit by the mayor and city council, the person moving the building shall contact the police department to arrange for a police escort of the building within city limits.

    (b)

    The expenses which shall be incurred in the retention and utilization of the police officer shall be borne by the person moving the building and applied to the cost of obtain the permit provided for in section 26-160.
