§ 26-150. Permits required for moving explosive materials through city; special route designated; local deliveries.

(a)

All public carriers and vehicular carriers shall secure a permit from the city in order to transport explosives and combustibles through the city in order that said transportation shall be properly routed and necessary precautions taken for the safety of the inhabitants of the city.

(b)

All vehicular traffic carrying explosives and combustibles through the city shall use LaBauve Drive or the River Road as the route for their transportation of said explosives and combustibles.

(c)

An exception shall be granted to vehicular traffic for the delivery of combustibles for local consumption.
