§ 26-50. Traffic laws apply to persons riding bicycles and motorcycles and motor-driven cycles.

Every person riding a bicycle, motorcycle or motor-driven cycle upon any street or road in this city shall be granted all of the rights and shall be subject to all of the duties applicable to the driver of a vehicle by this chapter and shall also be bound by those special requirements provided for in the Louisiana Highway Regulatory Act except as to those provisions which by their very nature can have no application.
