§ 22-40. Levy of occupational license on insurance companies.

There is hereby levied an annual license tax on each company, society, association, corporation or firm or individual engaged in the business of issuing any form of insurance policy or contract, which may now or hereafter by subject to the payment of any license tax for state purposes, as herein provided.
