§ 18-1. Adoption of state sanitary code.

There is hereby adopted by the mayor and city council, in order to protect and promote the health and sanitation of the city, that code known as the Sanitary Code of the State of Louisiana, prepared and promulgated by the state board of health and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and the provisions of said code shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the city.
