§ 16-104. Fines and penalties.

(a)

If it is determined that a plant has violated any provisions of this article, the plant shall be subject to actions and/or penalties in accordance with section 1-16. The plant may also be subject to any corrective orders and actions, including, but not limited to, closure of the plant, as deemed necessary to ensure the well-being of the public.

(b)

Adjudication. Citations issued for the violation of any of the provisions of this article may be adjudicated by the city magistrate or in the appropriate parish court or the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District Court for the parish.
