The city hereby adopts the National Fire Prevention Association, Life Safety Code,
also known as the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, 2012 edition, prescribing the code for
safety to life from fire in buildings and structures, of which code not less than
three copies have been and are now filed in the office of the city clerk, and the
same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and
the provisions hereof shall be controlling within the city limits.
