    SCHEDULE III

    PERMIT FEES

    $0.00 to $1,000.00 $15.00 fee (minimum permit fee)
    $1,001.00 to $50,000.00 $15.00 for the first $1,000.00 plus $5.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $50.000.00
    $50,001.00 to $100,000.00 $260.00 for the first $50,000.00 plus $4.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $100,000.00
    $100,001.00 to $500,000.00 $460.00 for the first $100,000.00 plus $3.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $500,000.00
    $500,001.00 and up $1,660.00 for first $500,000.00 plus $2.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof

     

    NOTE: For all new residences built in accordance with the 1995 CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code, the determined permit fee shall be multiplied by 0.75 to determine the final building permit fee.

    When an after-hours inspection by the building, electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing departments is requested by any licensed contractor for inspections during other than designated working hours, a minimum fee of $100.00 shall be charged for the first four hours and a fee of $25.00 for each additional hour or fraction thereof.

    Where work requiring a permit by the city Code is started prior to obtaining said permit, the fees above specified may be increased by 100 percent, at the discretion of the code official, but the payment of such fee shall not relieve any person from fully complying with the requirements of this Code in the execution of the work, nor from any other penalties prescribed herein.

    Where work requiring a permit for removal and demolition is started prior to obtaining said permit, the fees above specified shall be increased by 300 percent, but the payment of such fee shall not relieve any person from fully complying with the requirements of the city Code in the execution of the work, nor from any other penalties prescribed herein.
